Dance is the joy of movement and the heart of life.
Express yourself through movement. Learn how to use your body to communicate through
dance and other movement practices. Dive deeper into viewing, creating movement and
sharing your reactions to dance, art and movement.
The Dance Department offers courses in dance technique, performance, body modalities,
and dance appreciation, all of which are designed for the dance student, the liberal
arts student, as well as any other student seeking personal enrichment.
Duration
Our program offers Certificates of Achievement (COA), which can be earned in 2 semesters.
We also offer a local Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Dance. This degree can be earned
in 4 semesters if you are a full-time student.
The Associate of Arts (local) Degree in Dance can be attained without buying textbooks.
For more information, visit the ZTC Webpage or Search for Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC)

ZTC applies to specific sections, and not necessarily all sections of a course in
an academic plan.
