We hope to help you accomplish your dream of becoming a Police or Highway Patrol Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Reserve Officer, Forensic Specialist, Dispatcher, Security Professional, Corrections or Probation Officer, Court Administrator, or Federal Agent! 
 
Grossmont College AOJ Department serves approximately 1,500 students each semester with degrees and certificates. We also have state certified academies and courses. Students who choose to complete only the courses required for the major qualify for a Certificate of 
Achievement in Administration of Justice. 
 
Duration 
We offer an Associate of Science for Transfer (AAT) Degree designed for students who are planning a career in Administration of Justice and wish to transfer to a CSU to complete a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. We also offer the following Associate of Science (AS) degrees with specialization in the following areas: 
-Corrections 
-Forensic Technology 
-Law Enforcement 
-Security Management 
 
These degrees can be earned in 4 semesters if you are a full-time student and prepare you for transfer to a four-year institution. A certificate of proficiency and certificate of achievement can be earned in as little as one to two semesters.
