Please view this PowerPoint for info regarding offering Honors Option to your students.
- Instructor participation is completely voluntary, and is not required. Instructors reserve the right to have a cap on the number of honors contracts they can accommodate in each section they choose to offer them in.
- Part-time and full-time faculty are encouraged to participate.
- Instructors work directly with Coordinator to establish, maintain, and offer optional Honors contracts in the regular classes they are assigned each term.
- Honors contracts are solely with identified students in your regular course, who do extra work in addition to the standard course requirements. The entire section will not be considered Honors, nor classified as such in the schedule.
- Please reach out to Coordinator ahead of time if you have questions, or want to make Natalye aware of what extra work you are requiring for the students who are completing an Honors contract in your class. See PowerPoint for examples of extra assignment requirements, or reach out to Natalye via email or at ext. 7557.
