The cost estimate provided below is to assist prospective nursing applicants in anticipating expenses at consecutive points on their path toward becoming a Registered Nurse through Grossmont College. This is an estimate only. Some expenses can be reduced or eliminated through accessing available resources including The Promise Grant, Financial Aid, Scholarships and Grants, and by utilizing Student Health Services.

On-campus RN to BSN program

 

Get your BSN here at Grossmont College through Point Loma Nazarene University.  Complete the ADN program at Grossmont College and receive your RN license, then begin taking classes through PLNU on our campus.  For enrollment eligibility and complete information visit Point Loma Nazarene University's RN to BSN page.

Additional RN-BSN programs include Grand Canyon University, Post University, and San Diego State University. Incoming students have an opportunity to meet representatives from the advance degree programs. 

 

Academic Progression

Students entering the nursing program must successfully complete all the nursing courses within the semester prior to moving to the next semester. Successful completion means passing the course with a C or better (75% or higher) and be clinically safe as determined by the clinical instructor.

Graduation

Students who complete the nursing program must also meet the graduation requirements for the Associate Degree. Prior to starting the nursing program, students meet with a counselor to review graduation requirements.

Technology Requirements

During the Nursing Program,  students are required to have access to a computer with reliable internet access.
