No beauty shines brighter than a healthy heart.
Telemetry/ ECG Technicians are allied health professionals who operate electrocardiograph
machines to provide data for diagnosis and treatment of heart ailments. Telemetry
Techs are employed in hospitals, clinics, and private practice offices.
Duration
We offer two programs, each to be completed in one semester. Each track prepares you
for a certification exam through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Although students are not required to take the 2 certification exams once the courses
are complete, passing the exams greatly increases the employment opportunities.
Completing both tracks also provides the graduate with greater opportunities for employment
as either an ECG Technician or a Telemetry Technician.
