Veterans Resource Center

Mission

The Veterans Resource Center (VRC), located in building 21, Rm 253 (downstairs) provides a central entry point for Active Duty, Reserve service members, Veterans and their families as they transition from the military to Grossmont College. Staffed by our program specialist, VA work study students and counselors the overall goal is to deliver tangible tools and services to optimize student success. In collaboration with the VAO, but physically in a different location from Grossmont College Veteran Affairs Office (VAO), the VRC fosters a collaborative delivery of student services between on campus centers such as Accessibility Resource Center (A.R.C.),  Assistive Technology Center, Gizmos Kitchen Food Pantry and off campus agencies who provide services to veterans and their families. The VRC strives to provide services in three primary areas: academics, camaraderie, and wellness.
