Grossmont College offers a range of certificate of achievement programs whose primary goal is to prepare students for employment in various occupations in California industry sectors. Students interested in developing proficiency in a career area may pursue a Certificate of Achievement, which requires the completion of 18 units or more. Completion of a certificate of achievement program provides the student with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to seek employment in their chosen field of study. Some professions may require state and/or federal certification for licensure exams in addition to the Certificate of Achievement.
