Events

Each year, international students can take advantage of free bus trips to Los Angeles museums, Orange County beaches, and state or national parks. These off-campus trips provide opportunities for students to meet both American and international students, learn about the area geography, participate in hiking trips and picnics, and visit world-class museums.

In addition, students can join International Club trips to local cultural and theme park attractions.

Grossmont College also holds special events for our international students, including receptions and graduation parties. We want our students to feel welcome at our college, and to know that their presence and success on this campus are important. These events are free to students.

Travel Packet / Club Membership Information

Travel packets and completion of the Get Inclusive training are required for all students who plan to attend off-campus events throughout the semester. Visit the International Counseling Office in Building 10 to fill out the form and please bring 2 valid IDs (student ID card, driver's license, state ID, passport, F-1 visa, etc) with you.
