Curriculum Committee - Degrees/Programs

 

Degree/Program Addition

 

1. Prepare your proposed program for Curriculum Committee Review. You may obtain a sample from the Grossmont College catalog.
   
   
2. Complete the Degree/Program Addition Proposal Form
   You must list and attach the proposed program requirements to the form, be prepared.
   
   
3. Complete additional proposal forms as required:
   
   
   1. Letter(s) of Intent (LOI)
   2. Narrative Form
      
      
4. If sending an LOI to Cuyamaca College, please coordinate with Instructional Operations.
   
   
5. A Narrative will also be required upon local approval.
   (Instructional Operations will send a template to be completed)

 

Degree/Program Modification

 

1. Prepare your program modification for Curriculum Committee Review. You may obtain a sample from the Grossmont College catalog.
   
   
2. Complete the Degree/Program Modification Proposal Form
   You must list and attach the proposed program requirements to the form, be prepared.
   
   
3. Complete additional proposal forms as required:
   
   
   1. Letter(s) of Intent (LOI)
      
      
4. If sending an LOI to Cuyamaca College, please coordinate with Instructional Operations.

 

 

 

Degree/Program Deletion

 

1. Complete the Course/Degree Deletion Proposal Form
   
   
2. Complete additional proposal forms as required:
    
   1. Letter(s) of Intent (LOI)
      
      
3. If sending an LOI to Cuyamaca College, please coordinate with Instructional Operations. 

 

 

Associate Degrees for Transfer

AA-T & AS-T

 

1. Prepare your proposed program for Curriculum Committee Review. Work with the Articulation Officer to ensure that Course Identification Number System (C-ID) and Template Model Curriculum (TMC) requirements are met before initiating a proposal.
   
   
2. Complete the Degree/Program Addition Proposal Form
   or Degree/Program Modification Proposal Form. You must list and attach the proposed program requirements to the form, be prepared.
   
   
3. Complete additional proposal forms as required:
   
   
   1. Letter(s) of Intent (LOI)
      
      
4. If sending an LOI to Cuyamaca College, please coordinate with Instructional Operations.

 

 

 

Letter of Intent Form

 

Letter of Intent or (LOI) are initiated and executed to notify the appropriate chair or coordinator when a curriculum proposal affects another course, program, or certificate at Grossmont or Cuyamaca. Faculty completing the curriculum proposals can fill out the LOI and send to the appropriate faculty if at Grossmont College. Please coordinate with the Instructional Operations Supervisor if an LOI will be sent to Cuyamaca College.

2. Please coordinate with Instructional Operations to complete and send the form to Cuyamaca College.
