Associate Degree
These programs are designed to provide students with skills in understanding, speaking,
reading and writing Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Russian or Spanish. The Associate Degree fulfills lower division requirements at most four-year colleges
and universities and thus provides a broad-based foundation for transfer students.
In addition to courses in the student's chosen language, all candidates for the AA
Degree must complete the General Education and Elective requirements of Grossmont
College.
Students should consult college catalogs and counselors and visit the campus for particular requirements necessary to transfer to a four-year institution.
