President's Taskforce on Anti-Racism
The President's Taskforce on Anti-Racism is an advisory group that works with the Grossmont College president on issues related to anti-racism, diversity, equity and inclusion. It is not a recommending or participatory governance body.
Mission and Charge
The mission and charge of the President's Taskforce on Anti-Racism is college advance its anti-racism and equity work. It is currently working on the following initiatives:
- Workplace mattering
- Employee onboarding
- Employee belonging
- Communications
Membership
Members of the President's Taskforce on Anti-Racism include faculty, classified professionals, and administrators. Members of the President's Cabinet, Academic Senate, Classified Senate also serve and are appointed by the college president.
Activities
The President's Taskforce on Anti-Racism regularly meets throughout each semester. Professional development is made available to Grossmont College through book clubs, campus forums, and other educational functions to address anti-racism.
