The Hyde Art Gallery is excited to kickstart our Fall 2025 semester with our recurring Faculty and Classified Staff Exhibition, IN•SIGHT, showcasing artwork produced by the arts educators in the Visual Arts and Humanities Department here at Grossmont College. Featuring a diverse range of media, this exhibit also represents the various disciplines taught within Grossmont College's art programs including ceramics, digital media, drawing, jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.

"Artwork in this exhibition displays the wide variety of student talent and styles, as they each take different approaches to depicting the outer reaches of space in their work. The intergalactic theme was one chosen by the club's members, as their way to express personal style and symbology. With this exhibition, we hope to invite students to consider the great heights which they can take in their artistic careers. From the display here at Grossmont College, to the shining sea of the cosmos above!”

The Grossmont College Art Club is dedicated to fostering creativity, leadership, and community among its student members. The club strives to extend studio time and resources for students who may not otherwise have access, ensuring they can continue to grow and develop their artistic practice. Through a variety of workshops, students are introduced to diverse artistic mediums and techniques, expanding both their skills and creative perspectives. In addition, the club emphasizes the importance of community engagement, encouraging students to give back to both the campus and the broader community through their art.
