Culinary Arts
The Culinary Arts Program provides the training needed for a variety of careers.
Professionally trained individuals are needed to fill occupational positions in such
areas as:
- Executive Chef
- Sous Chef
- Pastry Chef
- Baker
- Cake Decorator
- Restaurant Manager
- Personal Chef
- Prep Cook
- Cook's Assistant
- Food Server / Wait Person
Required Supplies
Culinary Arts and Baking and Pastry Students are required to purchase the following supplies:
- Uniform $50-$75 (approximate) Order from Chef Works
- Black Shoes: $30-$150 (approximate) that are commercial kitchen quality, oil and slip
resistant will also be required for laboratories.
- Knife/Tool set $150 -$250 (approximate) purchased online through our vendors and handed
out first week on class.

- Textbook(s): $100+ each (approximate)
A textbook will be required for Essential Skills and Principles of Baking and Pastry.
This information will also be provided by your Chef/Instructor in a welcome letter
as well as in your Canvas course 2 weeks before start date.
