The Department of Exercise Science and Wellness (formerly "Physical Education") empowers students with knowledge in physical fitness, healthful living, leisure pursuits, and stress management, all while mastering various fitness and sports activities. Our curriculum emphasizes the integration of movement skills, intellectual development, and physical fitness as essential life elements. Students progressively acquire and refine skills through expert instruction, analysis, and evaluation.

 

We offer a range of courses to meet general education requirements, promote personal growth, and provide pathways for intercollegiate athletics, health education, and an Associate of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Wellness.
